The Course of Life
The
course of life flows momentarily
Through
the streams of hope, rivers of doubt, fountains of youth
And
valleys of truth
Until
at last, emerges a wealth of belief
In
the ocean of understanding
Realising
the effect of worn out boots on a cold, wintry morning
Or
the smell of hot, steaming coffee after dinner
Cannot
fully begin to immortalize the exotic flavors of life
Life
is not a destination, but a journey
With
so many intrusions, confusions
We
must protect our souls from illusions, delusions
And
yet through destruction, waste and war
We
rise up, revived, renewed and ready
To
conquer all that stands before us, and behind us
With
what lies within.
